GROUP TO CLOSE ?

This is short but not sweet and will be a bitter pill for some of you. Please read on so that the title does not become the reality at the next AGM.

Decisions were made at the last committee meeting that you should be made aware of. All of the committee have made the decision to stand down at the next agm, they are Marie, Candy, Wendy, Clare, Hannah, Jane and Jean. All of us have been on the committee for a good length of time and each of us unfortunately for Endurance GB and the South & West Wales Group are being pulled in different directions, whether it be family ties, a need for a change, work commitments etc. Our decision is not reflective of the group and the fun we have had, it is just time for other group members to step forward and take on the mantle.

A group committee requires five committee members. Therefore unless some of our group members come forward our group shall no longer be able to run and have to be handed over to EGB to start closing procedures.

WE DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN.

All the committee members standing down off the committee do not want this to happen. So please step forward and      

SAVE YOUR GROUP.

In the next newsletter you will find a nomination slip. Please send it completed to the secretary before the AGM. Please come to the AGM (see below) the outcome of your group is in your hands.
