Getting Started
Have you ever been tempted to have a go at
endurance riding but did not know how to start?
Why not contact the Endurance GB South and
West Wales Endurance Group. They will help you get started, answer any
of your questions and inform you of what's on in Wales.
The picture shows Kiri Williams, one of our group
members, enjoying a ride on her horse Lonesome Maverick.

You do not need an Arab
horse or specialist tack, and you do not need to train for hours
every day or ride at fast speeds.
This is an opportunity to ride
in the beautiful Welsh countryside taking in the stunning views
and enjoying safe, well marked, mostly off-road routes with a well
organised society.
The season runs from February
to October, during which the group holds rides and evening
activities. We like to encourage a fun, club atmosphere and we
invite you to come and join in the fun.

You can become either a Full
Member, which allows you to compete competitively, or an Associate
Member. As an
Associate member you will be entitled to discounted entry fees, our
newsletter and the Endurance GB magazine and handbook. Membership
forms for both Full and Associate membership can be downloaded from
our Forms page.
New for 2011 -
Try Before You Buy scheme - allows non-members to ride an an
un-registered horse. Most people start out doing pleasure
rides of 16km (10 miles) and if and when they are ready, they go
further. If you want to know more, read our starter
pack and please contact us:
